IST PRESS has its own distribution network, which covers Portugal’s main cities and which also extends to a number of foreign countries.
If you wish to sell our books in your bookshop you can consult our customer services, create a new Bookshop client account and order from our commercial online area or send in a bookshop order form by fax, post or e-mail.
SUPPLIER CONDITIONS
ORDERS
Books will be supplied with invoice, discount or payment plan agreed by the parties.
DELIVERY
The books will be sent by special publishing post.
Postage and packing costs will be borne by the customers. If, for any reason attributable to the Bookshop, delivery incurs any additional costs, the Bookshop will meet those costs. These will be included in a debit note later sent out by IST PRESS.
All book deliveries will be sent out with invoice. The Bookshop must check the number of books delivered against the original order and then sign the duplicate copy of the document and send it by e-mail, fax or post to IST PRESS.
Any delivery complaints in relation to the order note or any discrepancy between the transport note and the books sent must be communicated within 5 working days of the delivery date.
RETURNS
Any returns on fixed accounts must be made by the end of the calendar year of the year of invoice, provided the books are in good condition. Any damaged books will not be accepted.
In relation to books with printing problems or which have been delivered by the transport company in poor condition, these will be replaced on the receipt of the damaged goods. The Bookshop must contact IST PRESS customer services within 30 days of the invoice date.

In order to facilitate the control of client accounts and the issue of receipts, all payments must be accompanied by information about the party requesting payment and the amounts outstanding.
PRICE CHANGES
The Publishers may change the price of books at its own discretion. When there is any change in price, IST PRESS will inform the Bookshop of this at least 30 days before the new price is due to come into effect.
