Jorge Tavares Ribeiro
Jorge Tavares Ribeiro is Professor at Faculty of Architecture at the University of Lisbon since 2001 and Researcher at the Centre of Natural Resources and Environment since 2006. He took a degree in Decisional Systems Engineering (ISIG, 1988) and Mining Engineering (IST, 1989). As a graduate student, he received a M.Sc. in Mine Planning (IST, 1994) and a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences (IST, 2000). He develops scientific activity in the areas of Multivariate Data Analysis, Spatial Statistics, Optimization, Environment, Natural Resources and Urban Planning.
