António Pizza

ANTÓNIO PIZZA is architect, PhD, Professor of History of Art and Architecture at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona (UPC). He has been curator of the following exhibitions, and editor of the respective catalogs: “J. Ll. Sert y el Mediterráneo” (Collegi Oficial d’Arquitectes de Barcelona, 1997); “La Tradició Renovada” (Collegi Oficial d’Arquitectes de Barcelona, 1999); “En Busca del Hogar. Coderch 1940-1964” (Collegi Oficial d’Arquitectes de Barcelona, 2000); “1958-1975. Desde Barcelona; Arquitecturas y Ciudad” (Collegi Oficial d’Arquitectes de Barcelona, 2002); “GATCPAC 1928-1939. His research areas mainly focus on the relationship between art and architecture during the 19th and 20th centuries, with the modern city as a central theme of his reflections. Currently, he directs the four months’ course “Architecture and Cinema” (ETSAB, 2016) in its sixth edition.
