PRICING

Prices shown on this website are in Euros, including taxes and fees, and reflect the current VAT rate. We are pleased to inform you that all books purchased through our online store are eligible for a 10% discount on the retail price. Orders over €20 are shipped free of charge within Portugal.

In order to place an order, customers are kindly requested to provide a valid email address or mobile phone number. Please note that deliveries to P.O. boxes are not available.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

All orders are shipped via CTT Expresso.

For international deliveries, shipping times depend on the destination and follow CTT Expresso’s international standards. Please note that these times are indicative only. In the destination country, local taxes, import duties, or additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

For Portuguese deliveries, once your order leaves our logistics centre, the estimated delivery times are:

• 1 to 3 business days for mainland Portugal
• 5 to 7 business days for Madeira Island
• 6 to 15 business days for the Azores Islands

If payment is confirmed before 12:00 p.m. (Portugal time), your order will be processed and shipped the same day. Payments confirmed after 12:00 p.m. will be processed and shipped on the next business day.

Online orders are processed while stocks last. If a product is unavailable, IST Press will notify the customer as soon as possible.

When receiving your order, please check the condition of the package. If it shows any serious external damage, you may refuse it without opening. Alternatively, the package may be opened in the courier’s presence to confirm that the contents are intact. Any transport-related damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported to IST Press immediately.

Orders can be cancelled before shipment if they have not yet been dispatched. If the order has already been shipped, you may request a return, subject to the defined conditions.

RETURNS

PORTUGAL AND THE EUROPEAN UNION

The customer has a minimum period of 14 days to terminate the contract, without paying compensation and without needing to indicate the reason, being reimbursed for the amounts paid for the items, which must be returned in perfect condition, with costs borne by the customer. You can also request a replacement for the item if it is not delivered in perfect condition. Returned products must be in the same condition as they were sold.

To proceed with the return or request a replacement of the item, you must contact our commercial services. The return process differs depending on the shipping address.

REST OF THE WORLD

It is important to note that for purchases made outside the European Union, the laws of the country where the purchase was made apply, not Portuguese legislation.
